Alumna Jori K. Lewis Awarded Templeton-Cambridge Fellowship
Freelance journalist and Metcalf Alumna Jori K. Lewis has been awarded the fifth annual Templeton-Cambridge Journalism Fellowship in Science and Religion.
Lewis, who was awarded a Metcalf Diversity Fellowship in Environmental Reporting in 2006, is one of 10 journalists selected for the Templeton-Cambridge Fellowship.
The recipients - from the U.S., the United Kingdom and Canada - will examine issues in science and religion through research, seminars and discussions with scientists and theologians at the University of Cambridge. Lewis will be in the company of journalists from the Washington Post, Dallas Morning News, Daily Mail and other prominent news organizations.
Lewis reported international environment stories for PRI's The World for her Metcalf fellowship.
